We received updated pictures and measurements today on Jaxon Lee. He is up to a whopping 24.2 lbs, and a little over 35 inches. He still looks sad. His sister will soon cheer him up! We are now at day 105 in our wait for LOA. We have experienced several blessings in the past few weeks! Our dear friends planned a surprise shower for us, and we were very blessed through loving gifts from family and friends.
We got in contact with a family who will be traveling to Jaxon's orphanage soon. They have volunteered to ask to see Jaxon and try to get some better updates for me.
We also connected with "the other family". When I say this, I mean it lovingly. The other family who is from our agency who is over the 100 day wait on LOA. We have been hearing .... there are two families in the same boat, we check on your files each week. It was funny once we connected, we found out that we grew up about 20 minutes from each other. What a small world! Although knowing who the other family is does not shorten our wait, it is nice to have met them and be able to communicate with someone else who understands your situation.
