Adoption Registration, Notarization, and Passport Office

We had a big day yesterday! We went back to the civil office and completed the adoption registration, notarization, and then in the afternoon went to the Passport office.

At the passport office, it was loud, crowded, and we saw a little sadness in little dude. He was scared, and did not know what was happening. He is starting to attach to us,and also coming out of his shell a little. He actually took a nap yesterday and slept last night. He is starting to go with us without us taking a hand or picking him up.

He is very ticklish!

I was tickling his feet while he was standing at his perch, and he kept turning around, trying to catch me.... he really tries not to have fun and smile, but it comes out, even though he is fighting it!

Yesterday, Audrie was crying and he got so sad. He is already protective of her. Very cute!

We ate supper again in the hotel Executive Lounge. They vary the food, and it is laid back, so we can sit down and get food for the kids. It really has been working out well. The kids ate tacos, mini chicken burgers, cheese, and some fruit!

HELPFUL TIP FOR FUTURE ADOPTERS: If you are reading this blog and will be traveling to stay at the China Hotel in Guangzhou....if you haven't noticed, you need to purchase a room that gets you access to the executive lounge.
